Dodgers Nation Throwback: The Latin House in Rancho Cucamonga

One of my favorite articles I ever wrote was The Latin House in Rancho Cucamonga for Dodgers Nation. I’m not going to re-write the story but here’s the players starting from the left going clockwise and what has happened to them since this was written in September of 2018.

  • Carlos Rincón – he was promoted to AA early in 2019
  • Edwin Uceta (furthest back) – he was promoted to AA early in 2019 also. I was able to snag an interview right before his promotion.
  • Hamlet Marte – he played with the Giants organization in 2019 but re-signed with the Dodgers for 2020.
  • Leo Crawford (far right)- he was promoted to AA for the last month of 2019. We just did an article on him.
  • Omar Estevez – he played the whole season in AA. There were some injuries but he had a very good season. I expect him to be in AAA when baseball resumes.
  • Cristian Santana – he also played the whole season in AA and played a good third base. His offense was solid. AAA awaits.

They are all on Instagram so consider following them.

Let’s just hope we can see them in action soon.
