Dodgers Prospects: July 27, 2022 Wrap Up; John Rooney, James Outman, Ryan Ward

OKC Dodgers

OKC won 6-3. Andre Jackson drew the start and went 5 innings, giving up 1 hit, one earned run, 3 walks and 6 strikeouts. Jackson has had a tough year but this was a nice bounce back. Miguel Vargas (14) and James Outman (5) both homered. Outman also had a double.

 

Tulsa Drillers

The Drillers lost 6-2. John Rooney had his best start of the year with 7.1 IP, 2 hits, 1 earned run, 1 walk and 6 Ks. He also had his 11th pickoff of the season. On offense, Ryan Ward stays hot, going 3 for 4.

 

Great Lakes Loons

The Loons won 8-6. Eddys Leonard (9) and Edwin Mateo (2) both homered while Jose Ramos had 2 hits and 2 RBI. Imanol Vargas continues to hit as he went 2 for 4.On the mound Robbie Peto pitched 3 innings, giving up 1 hit, 3 walks and struck out 3. Ryan Sublette went 2 innings; giving up 2 hits and 4 Ks. Ben Harris continues to be a strikeout machine, going an inning and striking out 2.

Rancho Cucamonga Quakes

The Quakes lost 6-0. Yunior Garcia hit a double while Damon Keith and Kenneth Betancourt had singles. That was all of the offense. On the mound Maddux Bruns pitched 2 innings, with 0 hits, 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. We did publish a feature on Austin Gauthier yesterday, so be sure to check it out.
