The Dodgers are calling up one of their top prospects, infielder and outfielder (but mostly an excellent hitter), Miguel Vargas.
The Los Angeles Dodgers selected the contract of IF/OF Miguel Vargas from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

I’ve been covering Vargas since 2019 and his hitting skills were visible from the very beginning. A few months ago we wrote an in-depth article about him. Many fans of the Dodgers got on the Miggy bandwagon during Spring Training when he crushed a home run.

We also wrote about his great month of May. He has been getting some playing time in left field lately. I am not sure what the plans are for him yet but if Justin Turner needs to go on the IL, expect Vargas to get some time at third base.
